Defining your vision, dealing with adversity and overcoming fear are key principles that determine success. On his first day of high school, Captain ‘T’ was escorted by Federal Marshals and State Troopers as he integrated an all-white school in the Deep South. Against overwhelming odds, he went on to graduate with:

• National Merit academic honors,
• All-American honors in football, AAU recognition in track
• Appointments to Two Service Academies
• First African-American from South Carolina to receive an appointment to the US Air Force Academy.

He enjoyed a successful tenure at the Academy as a member of the Sugar Bowl team and of the Cadet Wing Staff, the five person leadership team of the school. After enjoying an outstanding career in the Air Force, this decorated Instructor Pilot moved on to pursue other challenges in life. Today he is a leading consultant, noted speaker, author and personal coach.
